I am amazed at how many treatments are considered alternative by government and medical insurance companies even though they can be thousands of years older than pharmaceuticals. When government subsidies are applied to medication it makes them more affordable. I personally think it would save governments budgets if they subsidised more so called “alternative” treatments and let the pharmaceutical companies survive with research grants and private business funding.

So what is the alternative? Worry only builds up stress. Worry never solved anything even making it more difficult to solve anything. Worry causes depression, illness, wrinkles on the face.

None of these seem to be a good alternative.

I think happy people look and act younger than there age. By the way is a smile contagious.

The problem with alternative medicine is the cost. My physican refuses to use governement re-imbursement from Soc. Security because they will not permit certain of his proceedures and treatments.

Last week I did not go because I was ill but for preventive measures. Both of my parents had heart problems, causing their deaths. The doctor did a test to see if I were a candidate for heart attacks or stroke. Two supplements plus the regular visit charge giving me a total bill of $239. It was worth it as I am a 70 year old living a life pain free.

He even approved of my liquid glucosamine in place of medicines that could be harmful. You pay more for holistic treatments but at least you get results.
